Congregational Life Team - Planning for 2025 & Beyond. Please Respond by Sunday, February 23.

Being together in Fellowship is so needed right now. One goal of the Congregational Life Team is to build community by building relationships around welcoming events and activities.

First Friday Potlucks & Bingo (and the annual Chili CookOff!), Marguerite’s Coffeehouse (and the annual No-Talent Talent Show!), Dinner Circles, Q & Friends – these are just a few of the engaging events we offer here at the Fellowship. And these things don’t happen without your vision and support.

So here are “4 Asks":

1. Join the new Congregational Life Steering Team. If you like to look at the big picture, this is a good role for you. Among other things, this team might look at the Fellowship activities calendar and collaborate with others to create new ways to be together. Email caron@uufws.org for details.

2. Connect with and support a favorite Congregational Life program. If you’re a regular coffeehouse participant or a big fan of potlucks and bingo, speak with the coordinators of those activities and offer to help.

3. Step into leadership! The Annual Chili CookOff needs 2-4 additional leaders this year. We have several talented leaders from years past who are happy to answer questions. And – it’s always exciting when you bring your new energy and new ideas. If you’ve ever attended one of our legendary cookoffs – and especially if you’re a previous prize winner — consider this role and don’t hesitate!

4. Join a Task Team. There are times when a committee, team or group needs extra hands. Task Teams are rapid-response, help-wanted lists to fill a specific need. Examples include washing a load of kitchen laundry, setting/resetting the Fellowship Hall before or after an event, cleaning a closet, heavy lifting needs, administrative/office jobs, etc. If you’d like to know more about being on a Help Wanted task team in the 2025, let us know on this form.
